I am a registered International Welding Engineer (IWE) and Project Management Proffesional (PMP). I have extensive experience as a welding engineer as well as in Quality Assurance (QA) withing the Power and Energy Industries as well as experience withing the Oil and Gas, and Nuclear indutries. I have worked on various construction projects, including Kusile (6 x 800MW boilers) and the Morupule A boiler refurbishment. I am well versed in numerous construction and welding codes including BS EN ISO 15614, BS EN 12952, ASME IX, AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, BS EN ISO 13480, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, API 650, API 620. I am a well rounded individual, hard working, dedicated and always looking for a new challenge. My experience along with my academic qualifications have provided me the technical and managerial skills to successfully lead teams.
Work Experience
Project Engineer
Headed development of localisation module for nuclear project assurance system. Stationed at NECSA, developed L-PAS knowledge management system, managed project and liaised with stakeholders.
Junior Mechanical Engineer
Detail design, verification, specifications compilation, sub-contractor management. Later seconded to Kusile Power Project for mechanical, welding and quality department work.
Project Engineer
Managed weld control systems at Kusile Power Project, implemented ISO3834 quality systems, assisted commercial team, developed engineering skills database at head office.
