I am an HSSE professional with construction and commissioning experience in the oil and gas industry at advisory as well as management levels. 19 years armed forces experience. My offshore experience includes subsea installation and commissioning work (manifolds, jumpers and inspections). Work on FPSO’s, from installation to first oil. These works more specifically revolved around Mooring, hook-up and commissioning. I worked on installation and pipe lay vessels. This included the installation of subsea equipment i.e. spools, manifolds, risers and flow line systems and other and ancillary equipment. The installation and transfer of umbilical’s from the installation vessels to the FPSO. As well as fabrication yard experience. Participating in incident investigations and providing guidance to personnel on HSE matters. Interfacing with client management and delivering to their expectations and best practice. My work onshore includes fabrication yards, pipe spool bases and construction sites. The work generally revolved around fabrication of subsea equipment i.e. suction pile anchors, manifold support structures, manifolds, pipe line, pig launchers/receivers, mud mats, inline and flow line termination assemblies. I am an effective communicator and motivator with a track record of influencing and implementing change successfully based on experience and a thorough understanding of management systems, engineering processes and the implementation thereof.
