Cost Management •Develop Generic Projects Cost Structure and Cost Account Codes Directory under standard work breakdown structures for various generic project types. •Maintain with all commercial information through estimating and budgeting, risk management, interpretation of project information, variance analysis, trending and forecasting. •Manage Record/extract committed/spent cost to-date for direct costs for: (A)Resource cost from primavera or other timesheet systems. (B)Other direct project costs such as consultancy work, software,travel,meals etc, by receiving copies of purchase orders or expenses claim forms. Estimating & Budgeting •Maintain & coordinates quantity development and verification for a discipline or specialty. Develops, or assists in the development of, quantity bases for assumption. •Manage, coordinates and prepares project specific budgets. Assists in developing requirements for budgeting standards. •Experty for estimates, quantities, prices and costing for projects in a timely and cost effective basis. Tracking & Forecasting •Develops and implements requirements for cost recording, reporting, analyzing standards, programmes and reports. Performs performance monitoring and control functions. •Manage and implements quantity measurement systems for given processes, analyzes performance metric results, and identifies improvements. Contracts •Ensures that the Project cost management procedures, modified guidance documentation and reporting requirements are incorporated where appropriate in any invitations to tender to ensure a sound contractual/financial basis for each contract. •Works closely with contract administrators to agree contract budgets, progress payments, valuations of contract variation and compensation events, and contract financial close-out. Project Control •Prepare project cost estimate of resources and other expenses through discussions with functional leaders in a timely manner using generic cost structure, which is suitable for cost tracking in the project life cycle. Financial Analysis •Manage and maintains report parameters for corporate level financial reporting and analysis. •Advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues. •Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solution to business and financial problems.
