1. Planning administration •Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the Board and staff with the development of long range and annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on plans. •Oversee preparation of an Annual / Monthly Report summarizing progress on short and long range plans. •Research and write discussion papers, analysis documents and proposals as needed to assist the organization in determining and meeting its long and short term goals. •Managing sales across existing customers and products. •Sales forecasting and budgeting. •Achieving sales and margin targets. 2. HR management •Recruitment and contracting of company and project staff; Local & Expatriate staff. •Employee development, appraisal and training; •Employee relations; •Performance management and improvement systems. 3. Marketing and PR: •Managing good customer relations and communications with key existing and potential customers. •Product Pricing. •Developing new customers and products. •Ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of customer complaints. •Providing inputs for capacity planning, production planning and material requirement planning. •Facilitate optimum use of manufacturing capacity. •Represent the marketing and sales function at cross functional meetings. •Oversee finished goods warehousing and outbound logistics. •Competition monitoring and analysis. •Developing and deploying an effective strategy focused on winning profitable new business and further developing penetration in existing markets. •Providing inspirational leadership to the sales team. 4. Financial management •Provide recommendations regarding investments, credit and cash strategies. •Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual budget, regular variance statements and annual audit. •Provide vision regarding overall financial health of the company. •Provide vision and leader ship in long - range fiscal planning to ensure the continuity and solvency of the company. •Provide recommendations regarding effective utilization of long and short term debt, including refinancing and purchasing/sales. •Credit Control. •Monthly P&L account. •Sales & Revenue forecasts. 5. Production/QC: •Insure accurate documentation of production and quality control data and records. •Implementation of HACCP system and ISO documentation for inspection. •Direct and oversee site production activities and personnel. •Oversee and ensure high safety standards at all times. •Direct production activities to insure safety and compliance with quality control standards, regulatory compliance, and lease agreements. •Oversee and/or ensure good housekeeping at site at all times. •Aim to achieve ISO certification & Training to Production -Admin staff. 6. Administrative management •Ensure client and vendor file integrity (documents, analytical information where required, communication notations, etc.). •Maintain general oversight and insure accuracy of records, Inventory, etc. •Assist in development of forms and tools to increase company efficiency and risk management.
