Technical Skills - Machining: I am proficient in the use of a range of engineering equipment, including: the lathe; milling; grinding and other common mechanical machinery. - Software: I have a strong understanding of the fundamentals and the applications of Catiav5, Ansys13.0, CES Edupack material selection software and Lab VIEW programming and have used it on a number of projects on my course. One particular success was using Catiav5 to design prototype for Automatic tire Pressure monitoring system. IT Skills - Software Packages: Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. - Research: I used a number of electronic journal portals and databases whilst carrying out my assignments during my course. Communication - Excellent Written Skills: I have developed my written presentation skills to an extremely high standard through undertaking a range of research projects and written assignments. - Oral presentation skills: Delivered a range of presentations throughout my degree to varying sizes of audience. I received positive feedback from both my course tutor and my peers. Organisational - Time management: Through my project work on my course I developed excellent time management skills to ensure I met all deadlines set. - Prioritisation skills: Before I undertake any project I use to prioritise the task to ensure them in the most logical order.
