Our Managed Cloud Services division is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Platform Administrator to join one of the fastest-growing areas of our global organisation. In this role, you will install, configure, maintain, support, and service customer SAS cloud systems and environments — whether hosted by SAS or deployed on the customer's premises. You will play a meaningful role in shaping how we operate in the region while engaging with a diverse portfolio of customers on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service with a customer-first mindset, continuously seeking ways to improve support and service delivery Administer, maintain, and install SAS Enterprise software and solutions, while managing and troubleshooting mid-tier and container-based applications in cloud environments Provide operational support for global PSD/Partner batch jobs and automations, ensuring reliability and performance across all deployments Handle daily tasks through SAS Cloud ticketing systems, following CIS best practices and IT Service Management principles to consistently meet SLA requirements Create and maintain comprehensive service documentation, including runbooks, knowledge base articles, and internal wiki content Diagnose, document, and resolve system issues; collaborate with external customers and interface with internal support teams and vendors to ensure seamless, end-to-end service delivery Guide, coordinate, and assist departmental staff, contributing to team development and capability building Participate in establishing departmental objectives and contribute to strategic planning for service delivery Provide quality assurance and internal review for the work of other team members Provide service leadership for local teams by managing service queues and assigning tickets in accordance with established team procedures Provide technical support to international clients as part of 24/7 shift coverage Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed in support of the organisation's secure software development goals Embody our core values — curiosity, passion, authenticity, and accountability — in everything you do Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience scripting in more than one language, architecting infrastructure requirements and system designs, and working in complex computing environments Minimum three years of experience in end-user and system administrator consulting or providing other first-level technical consulting Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered) Solid knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, hypervisors, Software Defined Storage (SDS), Software Defined Networks (SDN), utilities, services, and editors relevant to the assigned area Senior-level technical knowledge of the internal workings, diagnostic tools, and features of complex systems, with a strong aptitude for visualising solutions to complex problems Ability to script or write software programs with an understanding of the underlying machine architecture and its peculiarities Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, problem-solve independently, and quickly learn new tools and facilities from supplied documentation Deep understanding of the interdependencies between multiple systems and software within a computing infrastructure, including complex system architectures Proof of right to work in Poland is required to be considered for this role Additional Competencies, Knowledge & Skills Initiating Action: Demonstrated ability to take prompt, proactive action to accomplish work goals and deliver results beyond what is required Technical & Professional Knowledge: Consistently maintaining a high level of technical and functional expertise; staying current with developments and trends in areas of specialism; leveraging deep knowledge to drive results Work Standards: Setting and upholding high performance standards for self and others; taking personal accountability for the successful completion of assignments and self-imposing rigorous standards of excellence Why Join Us At SAS, it's not about fitting into our culture — it's about adding to it.
