About the Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Investment Analyst to join our lean, high-performing Investment Team. This is a unique opportunity to take on real responsibility in a growing renewable energy business, working directly on the financial analysis and transaction execution that shapes our expanding portfolio. The Investment Analyst will work across deal screening, financial modelling, transaction support, and strategic analysis. The role offers significant exposure to Rein's leadership team and its shareholders, and reports directly to the Investment Director. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Key Responsibilities Develop and apply comprehensive financial models for renewable energy projects at different stages of maturity, including sensitivity analysis and scenario planning Take overall responsibility for business cases and ongoing monitoring of project profitability, cash flow forecasts, and liquidity requirements Coordinate with technical, commercial, tax, accounting, and other relevant workstreams to ensure robust modelling assumptions and appropriate capture in valuations Support the screening and analysis of new investment opportunities, evaluating strategic and financial fit within Rein's portfolio Participate in and assist with potential M&A, divestment, and project financing processes, including due diligence and transaction execution Prepare clear and compelling decision-making materials for key internal and external stakeholders Contribute to financial and strategy-related tasks including internal management reporting, project benchmarking, market analysis, and Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) analysis What We're Looking For 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in corporate finance, M&A, investment banking, transaction services, management consulting, or a similar role within the energy sector Strong academic background, typically in business, finance, or engineering A genuine interest in and passion for the energy sector and the green transition Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with demonstrated experience in valuation, financial modelling, and business case development Experience with renewable energy and/or project finance is a distinct advantage Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Who You Are You thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments and are energised by delivering results to a high standard.
