Kitchen Crew – Lowlands Festival 2025 | Biddinghuizen, Netherlands 20–23 August | Paid & Volunteer Positions Available About the Role Local Dealer Food Inc is on the lookout for energetic, experienced kitchen crew to join their team at Lowlands Festival, one of the Netherlands' most iconic annual events, taking place 20–23 August in Biddinghuizen, Flevoland. This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity to be part of a passionate, international food team serving festival-goers across a high-energy four-day event. Whether you're a seasoned festival kitchen veteran or simply thrive in a dynamic food service environment, this role offers a genuinely exciting experience — and a foot in the door for future opportunities with the team. Both paid positions and volunteer roles are available for the right candidates. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food efficiently throughout each festival day Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen workspace at all times Support fellow crew members during high-volume service periods Follow food safety and hygiene standards throughout the event Communicate clearly and work collaboratively under pressure Assist with setup and breakdown of the kitchen station as required Adapt quickly to changing demands in a busy festival environment Requirements Previous kitchen experience is essential — this is a working kitchen, not a training environment Available for the full event run: Thursday 20 through Sunday 23 August Ability to work 12-hour shifts on your feet in a physically demanding setting Warm, sociable personality — you enjoy people and thrive in a team Calm and composed under pressure with a hands-on, can-do attitude Reliable and punctual — festival logistics depend on every crew member showing up Must be based in or able to commute to Flevoland, or willing to relocate/travel ahead of the start date Valid work authorisation in the Netherlands is preferred Access to a car is an advantage given the festival's location Camping gear required — a camping spot on-site is provided, but you'll need to bring your own equipment What's on Offer A competitive rate for paid crew positions (full details shared upon application) A camping spot on-site for the duration of the festival The chance to work alongside a skilled, international food team in a truly unique setting High-energy, fun working environment over four memorable days Priority consideration for future festival shifts and ongoing opportunities with Local Dealer Food Inc Volunteer roles available with flexible arrangements for those interested in the experience Work Details Job Type: Part-time, Temporary Location: Biddinghuizen, Flevoland – in person Duration: 4 days (20–23 August) Shifts: Approximately 12 hours per day If you love food, festivals, and working hard alongside great people, this is the role for you.
