About the Role We are looking for an experienced and passionate Store Manager (M/F) for our store in Schmiede. This is a key leadership role in which you will be responsible for driving commercial performance, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and building a high-performing team. You will be the face of the New Yorker brand in your store, setting the standard for excellence in everything from shop floor presentation to staff development. Responsibilities Team Leadership & Coaching — Inspire, motivate, and develop your team on a daily basis. You will conduct briefings, lead performance appraisals, and create a culture of continuous improvement in which every team member can grow. Customer Experience — Act as a true brand ambassador by ensuring every customer receives a warm welcome and high-quality advice. You set the tone for service standards and lead by example on the shop floor. Commercial Performance — Monitor and drive the achievement of sales targets, manage daily replenishment, and implement the latest merchandising concepts to keep the store visually compelling and commercially effective. Stock & Operations Management — Organise and oversee merchandise deliveries, manage inventory levels, and ensure stock accuracy and availability at all times. People & HR Administration — Build and manage daily, weekly, and monthly team schedules. Oversee hour allocation, coordinate holidays and absences, and ensure compliance with employment law and internal HR processes. KPI Monitoring — Track and analyse key performance indicators to identify opportunities and take corrective action where needed. Report results and collaborate closely with your Regional Manager and central support teams. Cross-functional Collaboration — Work in close partnership with your Regional Director and the company's head office support functions to align on strategy, implement new initiatives, and share best practices.
