Your role will include: Contributing to outpatient clinics, inpatient care, and multidisciplinary tumour boards Delivering specialist cancer treatments within your scope of practice — systemic therapies (Medical Oncology) or radiotherapy (Radiation Oncology) Playing an active role in service planning, clinical governance, and research initiatives where available Collaborating across disciplines to ensure consistently high-quality, patient-focused outcomes Supervising and mentoring registrars and junior medical staff Engaging in continuous quality improvement and contributing to service development Health New Zealand values your professional development and work-life balance, and actively supports: Access to peer networks, continuing medical education (CME), and sabbatical entitlements Protected non-clinical time built into your schedule Flexible work arrangements depending on the service and location Opportunities to participate in teaching, research, and service development Salary, Benefits & Leave Health New Zealand offers a competitive and comprehensive remuneration package in line with the ASMS Collective Agreement, comprised of a base salary reflective of your experience, plus allowances and superannuation. Please note that actual packages are negotiated at the time of offer, reflecting your specific clinical specialty, experience level, and geographic location.
