Open Positions We are currently hiring for the following roles: HGV / LGV Mechanics & Master Mechanics Vehicle Spray Painters Auto Electricians Vehicle Body Repairers Welders / Fabricators Tyre Fitters Responsibilities While specific duties will vary depending on the role applied for, successful candidates will generally be expected to: Carry out diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair of heavy goods vehicles (HGV), light goods vehicles (LGV), or passenger vehicles as applicable to the position Perform electrical diagnostics and fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment (Auto Electricians) Prepare vehicle surfaces, apply paint finishes, and carry out colour-matching procedures to a high standard (Spray Painters) Undertake structural and cosmetic bodywork repairs, including panel replacement and alignment (Body Repairers) Perform MIG, TIG, or MMA welding and fabrication tasks to specification (Welders / Fabricators) Carry out tyre fitting, balancing, wheel alignment, and related safety inspections (Tyre Fitters) Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and quality standards Work collaboratively within a workshop team to meet productivity and turnaround targets Liaise professionally with supervisors and, where applicable, with clients or fleet operators Requirements To be considered for any of the above positions, applicants must meet the following criteria: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a relevant automotive, mechanical, or fabrication role A relevant Diploma, Degree, or Technical Qualification in the applicable trade or field Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment A team-oriented mindset with a reliable work ethic and strong attention to detail Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety compliance UK applicants: Must hold a UKVI IELTS score of 5.5 in each band, or possess any recognised degree accompanied by an ECCTIS Certificate of English language competency Currently based in South Africa, Zimbabwe, or Kenya Compensation & Benefits Successful candidates can expect: United Kingdom: Competitive annual salary plus additional earnings through overtime Ireland: Competitive annual salary with strong earning potential and overtime opportunities All roles are full-time, in-person positions based at client sites across the UK and Ireland Relocation & Immigration Support USI Global Recruitment provides comprehensive support throughout the entire process, including: Certificate of Sponsorship (UK) or Work Permit (Ireland) application assistance Full visa application support and guidance Travel arrangement assistance Accommodation support upon arrival Post-arrival settlement assistance to help you establish yourself in your new location Our team is experienced in managing international placements and will guide candidates through every step of the process, from initial application through to successful relocation.
