Academic Content & Curriculum Developer Primary, Secondary & Junior College Location: Singapore (Alexandra Central Mall) / Remote Employment Type: Part-Time | Freelance | Contract About the Role Study House Academy is seeking a structured, academically strong, and detail-oriented Curriculum Developer to join our growing team. This role is central to developing high-quality tuition programme materials and digital educational content aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus, spanning Primary, Secondary, and Junior College levels. You will play a key role in shaping how students engage with academic content — both in the classroom and online. Whether you're designing exam-focused lesson packages or building shareable digital revision notes, your work will directly support students in achieving strong academic outcomes across major national examinations including the PSLE, O-Levels, and A-Levels. The ideal candidate is confident in at least two subjects across levels (e.g. Primary and Secondary, or Secondary and JC) and brings a combination of subject mastery, curriculum design ability, and a genuine commitment to educational quality. Responsibilities Curriculum Development — Tuition Programmes Design structured lesson plans aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus (or relevant Cambridge/international curriculum for JC subjects) Develop worksheets, practice papers, topical revision packages, and exam-style questions calibrated to PSLE, O-Level, SEC, and A-Level standards Create teaching slides and class materials for weekly tuition programme delivery Incorporate higher-order thinking skills, exam techniques, and model answer frameworks into lesson content Support the development of signature academic programmes and structured learning frameworks Digital Content Development — Educational Notes Develop high-quality digital notes and visual content for online distribution across social media platforms Create topical summaries, concept breakdown guides, and model answer templates accessible to students at various levels Build structured revision systems and assessment content banks Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all academic materials, from Primary through Junior College level Subjects Available Primary Level English Mathematics Science Secondary Level English Elementary Mathematics (E-Math) Additional Mathematics (A-Math) Lower Secondary Science Upper Secondary Combined Science Upper Secondary Pure Sciences Junior College Level General Paper / English Mathematics Sciences Economics Requirements Confident in at least two subjects spanning across levels (Primary, Secondary, and/or JC) A-Level graduate, Polytechnic graduate, or current undergraduate with a strong academic background in English, Mathematics, or Science A Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area is preferred but not required Strong familiarity with the Singapore MOE syllabus and national examination standards, including Cambridge/A-Level formats for JC subjects Solid understanding of PSLE, O-Level/SEC, and A-Level assessment formats as relevant to your subject and level Prior teaching or tutoring experience in MOE schools or tuition centres is an advantage, though not essential — subject mastery and reliability are the priority Excellent academic writing and content structuring skills Detail-oriented with a high standard of content accuracy Able to work independently, manage your own time, and meet deadlines consistently Engagement Details Part-time or freelance/project-based engagement Flexible working hours with a minimum commitment of 3 months preferred Remote-friendly, with occasional in-person collaboration at our Alexandra Central Mall centre when required Compensation is structured per project, per content piece, or on an agreed basis depending on scope — details are discussed at the interview stage Candidates seeking flexible, temporary, or supplementary work arrangements are warmly encouraged to apply Why Join Study House Academy Contribute meaningfully to student success across key academic milestones Flexible arrangements that fit around existing academic or professional commitments Collaborative, academically driven team environment Opportunity to build a portfolio of professionally developed curriculum and digital education content Remote-first workflow with a supportive, structured team behind you
