The SAP Test Management Team serves as the gatekeeper of quality, overseeing that every change and enhancement made to the SAP landscape is thoroughly tested and validated before reaching production. As an SAP Test Automation Expert, you will join this team in a pivotal capacity — ensuring the robustness and efficiency of SAP processes through effective test automation, continuous improvement, and deep technical proficiency.

You will be responsible for building, optimising, and maintaining modular, model-based test scripts that validate complex end-to-end business workflows. This role bridges the gap between technical automation and SAP functional modules, ensuring that updates, custom modifications, and standard releases do not disrupt core business processes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring that all testing outcomes are clearly communicated, aligned, and actioned based on execution reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead test automation for SAP S/4HANA systems, optimising workflows and ensuring comprehensive test coverage within defined scope
• Develop Tricentis Tosca automation scripts for both SAP and non-SAP environments, including platforms such as Coupa
• Debug, maintain, and continuously improve test automation scripts, modules, and test cases throughout the maintenance cycle
• Support test automation execution by running scripts within required timeframes and ensuring timely delivery of results
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including SAP functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders — to understand requirements and drive effective test automation expansion
• Adapt to evolving technical requirements and business needs within Agile and hybrid delivery environments, while maintaining high standards of test quality and efficiency
• Report to stakeholders on test automation scope coverage, progress, and regression results, translating complex findings into clear and actionable insights
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of testing standards, frameworks, and best practices across the SAP landscape

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Tricentis Tosca, including test case design, execution, and suite management
• Solid knowledge of SAP ERP modules, SAP Fiori, and associated business processes, with the ability to analyse complex requirements and translate them into effective testing scripts
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience optimising testing activities within iterative development workflows
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices related to application testing, business process validation, and quality assurance
• Excellent stakeholder communication and risk management skills, with a proven ability to deliver clear, concise reports and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, conduct training sessions, and communicate testing strategies effectively across the organisation
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes in dynamic, fast-paced environments
