This is a substantive, high-impact role in which you will work directly with business stakeholders across a broad range of legal matters, with particular focus on banking and financial services regulation. You will be a trusted advisor, a collaborative team player, and a forward-thinking professional who embraces innovation — including the evolving role of legal technology and artificial intelligence in legal practice.

Responsibilities

Advise the business on a wide range of legal matters, with a focus on banking and financial services regulation and civil law, including consumer and investor protection, lending, insurance distribution, and private international law
Support strategic initiatives and business-critical projects, providing timely and commercially sound legal guidance
Work closely with and provide oversight of external counsel where required, ensuring advice is well-coordinated and aligned with internal objectives
Engage directly with internal stakeholders at all levels, translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance
Monitor and interpret developments in European banking and financial services regulation, assessing their impact on business activities and flagging relevant changes proactively
Contribute to continuous improvement within the legal function, including exploring how AI tools and legal technology can enhance the quality and efficiency of legal service delivery
Manage competing priorities and multiple workstreams effectively, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, international environment

Your Team

You will be based in Kraków and work as an integral part of the Legal Global Wealth Management Luxembourg team — an enthusiastic and collaborative group of lawyers who handle a broad range of legal topics with direct business impact. Requirements

You have:

A university degree in law
Strong knowledge of European banking and financial services regulation
3 to 5 years of relevant legal experience in wealth management or private banking, gained at a law firm, financial institution, or supervisory authority
Genuine intellectual curiosity about complex legal and regulatory questions
A keen interest in innovation and legal technology, including practical experience with or enthusiasm for how AI can improve legal processes and service delivery
Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, with comfort using prompts in day-to-day legal work

You are:

A clear and confident communicator with strong interpersonal and analytical skills, able to engage effectively with colleagues at all seniority levels
Calm under pressure, with the ability to articulate legal boundaries clearly and constructively to internal business partners
Reliable and well-organised, with a proven track record of managing priorities and consistently meeting deadlines
Practical and solutions-oriented, comfortable navigating challenging or ambiguous situations with confidence
Fluent in English and French; proficiency in German or additional languages is a distinct advantage
