Content Reviewer – Yoruba Language | Lisbon, Portugal About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a leading BPO organisation based in Lisbon, Portugal, for a Content Reviewer with fluency in Yoruba. This is an office-based position offering an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, internationally diverse team, contributing to the safety and integrity of digital platforms used by millions of people worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating online content across a range of formats — including images, videos, text, social media posts, and advertisements — ensuring compliance with established client policies and guidelines. You will play a meaningful part in maintaining a safe and respectful online environment by identifying and escalating content that violates platform standards. Please note: This opportunity is open exclusively to candidates currently residing in and eligible to work in Portugal. Responsibilities Review and analyse images, videos, text, user accounts, social media posts, webpages, and advertisements to identify potential policy violations Maintain consistently high levels of quality and accuracy when reviewing assigned cases Monitor global events, emerging trends, and sensitive topics relevant to content review activities Escalate content that breaches client policies using internal tools and established procedures Document findings clearly and contribute recommendations during internal and client-facing meetings Meet daily and weekly productivity, quality, and operational targets Support additional markets and workflows as required, utilising available translation tools Prioritise workload effectively while adapting to evolving business needs and shifting priorities Apply client policies consistently and objectively, including when handling sensitive or potentially disturbing material Requirements Fluency in Yoruba at C1/C2 level — essential Fluency in English at B2 level or higher — essential Full eligibility to live and work in Portugal without restrictions Ability to review sensitive, explicit, or potentially disturbing online content in a professional and objective manner Strong attention to detail with the ability to apply policies accurately and consistently Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Good computer literacy and the ability to learn new internal systems quickly Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and resilience when working under pressure Flexibility to support additional markets and business needs, sometimes with limited advance notice Previous experience in content moderation or content analysis is advantageous Interpersonal Skills We Value Communication: Able to articulate ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing Analytical thinking: Capable of interpreting information, identifying what is needed, and determining the best course of action Professionalism: Confident, energetic, helpful, and trustworthy in all interactions Efficiency: Approaches tasks in a structured, streamlined manner to maximise productivity Organisation and punctuality: Keeps work ordered and consistently meets deadlines Flexibility: Comfortable managing varied responsibilities, sometimes at short notice Active listening: Engages attentively with colleagues and stakeholders without distraction Precision: Committed to accuracy and correctness in all aspects of the role Customer orientation: Patient, polite, and genuinely motivated to support the needs of others Continuous learning: Open to acquiring new knowledge and developing skills over time What's on Offer Office-based role in Lisbon, Portugal Relocation support provided for eligible candidates Health insurance included Temporary contract with transition to a 12-month employment contract upon successful completion of training Comprehensive onboarding and product training delivered in English Monday to Friday rotational schedule between 07:00 and 18:00 Competitive salary and an attractive benefits package A collaborative, international team environment within a globally operating company
