  • Operate personal computers, mainframe systems, software packages, and front-end programs relevant to client accounts
  • Resolve client and merchant technical support issues relating to point-of-service (POS) products, including dial-up card swipe terminals, by following established documentation and standardised processes
  • Enter required data into databases while resolving customer issues, consistently meeting established goals and objectives for quality and productivity
  • Build and develop a solid base of knowledge around POS products, company policies, customer service procedures, and compliance and association guidelines through ongoing training and reference to online manuals
  • Recognise when situations require deviation from standard processes and escalate appropriately
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • No prior relevant experience required — full training will be provided

  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a technical or financial services environment

Desired Skills and Capabilities

  • Skills & Knowledge: Demonstrates a willingness to acquire new job skills and apply company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks effectively
  • Job Complexity: Comfortable working on routine to semi-routine assignments, following established processes while recognising when occasional deviation from standard practice is warranted
  • Supervision: Able to work effectively under close supervision, following detailed instructions and established procedures across all assignments
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in basic computer operations and comfortable navigating multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Industry Knowledge: Motivated to develop foundational knowledge of the payments industry, including products, compliance standards, and association guidelines
  • Research & Resolution: Basic ability to research customer issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely, accurate resolutions
