As part of an exciting strategic evolution, Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company (referred to as SpinCo until the official name is revealed), planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo — a business focused on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our continued growth, we are seeking an EHS Advisor based in Poland. This is a dynamic, travel-intensive role requiring extensive on-site presence across multiple locations throughout Europe. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and actively promote a positive EHS culture across all sites, engaging all site personnel to drive and sustain a safe working environment
- Support and assist Site Managers in ensuring the safe completion of tasks and operational activities
- Devise, implement, and manage safety plans in line with client requirements, ensuring a safe place of operation at all times
- Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure Safe Systems of Work are effectively implemented and adhered to
- Monitor site operations and working practices to ensure full regulatory and client compliance
- Attend site project meetings to discuss EHS issues, risks, and action plans
- Ensure all EHS documentation is in place, current, and valid at all times
- Issue detailed Safety Reports covering accidents, incidents, near-misses, and safety observations
- Coordinate and maintain Organisational Management Systems (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001) to ensure effective management of Health, Safety, and Environmental matters across Site Services Offices and operational sites
- Review, update, and publish HSA Controlled Documentation in line with current requirements
- Conduct and participate in auditing processes to assure compliance, identify gaps, and report on findings with recommended corrective actions
- Communicate and maintain organisational policies, procedures, and performance metrics
- Proactively collaborate with operational teams to ensure EHS is embedded at all stages of project delivery and that relevant control measures are identified and applied
- Monitor and measure EHS objectives and targets in line with defined performance metrics
- Ensure compliance assurance in line with client expectations, applicable legislation, and industry best practices
- Manage, mentor, train, and coach site personnel to meet HSA requirements and norms
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and developing preventive measures to mitigate future risk
- Undertake any additional ad-hoc duties within the EHS department as required
What We're Looking For
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the EU, with regular on-site presence required across multiple European locations
- Proven experience in a similar EHS role within the construction industry
- Fluency in both English and Polish — spoken and written — to a professional standard
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in an EHS or closely related role
- Thorough, working knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards
- Demonstrated experience working and communicating effectively with subcontractors and third-party stakeholders
- Ability to advise confidently on EHS matters and lead day-to-day site EHS activities
- Strong investigative skills with the ability to analyse incidents and develop preventive strategies
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload and act on initiative
- Composure under pressure with the ability to handle multifaceted and competing objectives
- A collaborative, proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement in safety performance
