We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Equipment Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment operating at peak performance, directly supporting Micron's mission to deliver world-class memory and storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used throughout the manufacturing process
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment in accordance with layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, repair manuals, and engineering sketches or drawings
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to conduct thorough equipment checkouts and verify proper functionality following maintenance or repair activities
• Rebuild and restore manufacturing equipment to operational standards as required
• Execute equipment modifications as directed by engineers, ensuring changes are implemented safely and accurately
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in accordance with operational and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and quality teams to minimize equipment downtime and maintain production continuity
• Follow all safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements in a semiconductor manufacturing environment

• Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, and overall effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within your scope of work
• Apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, problem-solving, and operational tasks

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, layout plans, and technical manuals
• Proficiency with test and diagnostic equipment used in electro-mechanical maintenance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to fault diagnosis
• Ability to perform physical tasks including dismantling, repairing, and reassembling complex equipment
• Familiarity with semiconductor or high-precision manufacturing environments is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies, including AI-enabled tools and digital platforms
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement principles
