This role operates on a 1:1 rotation schedule aboard our vessel sailing under the Finnish flag on the Helsinki–Tallinn route. **Key Responsibilities** - Maintain and service the vessel's technical equipment to ensure optimal working condition - Rotate duties after each shift between Engine Repairman, Sanitary Repairman, and Interior Fitter roles - Work independently while maintaining high safety and environmental standards - Provide technical expertise in welding and lathe operation **Required Qualifications** - Valid Able Seafarer Engine/Repairman Certificate (STCW III/5) - Strong problem-solving abilities - Hands-on technical expertise, particularly in welding and lathe operation - Ability to work independently and take initiative - Proficiency in English (working language onboard) - Positive, service-oriented attitude - Proactive approach to safety and environmental standards **Preferred Qualifications** - Knowledge of Finnish and Swedish languages **What We Offer** - Interesting and versatile tasks in a dynamic international environment - Collaborative team of committed colleagues in Helsinki, Tallinn, and onboard - Special priced voyages and services, plus discounts in Eckerö Line shops - Comprehensive occupational health care - Occupational and leisure accident insurance **Application Process** Applications must be submitted through our online recruitment system by February 20, 2026.
