Regional Customer Experience Learning & Development Manager
Job Description
Area CX Learning & Development Lead
About the Role
Would you like to be part of a value-driven, commercially oriented international environment where we enable global trade every day? At Maersk, we believe that our people are our greatest asset — and this role sits at the heart of that belief.
We are hiring an Area CX Learning & Development Lead to define the future organisational capability profile for our Customer Experience (CX) function and shape the strategy required to achieve our Area CX ambitions. This is a high-impact, strategic role that supports the Area Head of CX and Area Head of CX Excellence in building a highly skilled, future-ready organisation through competency development roadmaps, training execution, and implementation of the Maersk coaching and assessment framework.
The L&D Lead works closely with key stakeholders across Centre, Regions, and other Areas to deliver effective onboarding, training, and development programmes for Area CX teams. If you are passionate about learning, coaching, and helping others grow — and thrive in a globally connected, culturally diverse environment — this role offers an exceptional platform to make a meaningful difference.

Living our values means competing in the marketplace in an ethical way so our name is synonymous with being a credible and valuable business partner. Through Constant Care and Humbleness, we strive to prepare for the future, while never forgetting that our customers and competitors are key to our ability to improve. In our daily work, Uprightness and Our Employees mean that transparency and accountability go hand in hand with being an inspiring, challenging place to work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the L&D strategy and roadmap in alignment with the organisation's strategic objectives
- Facilitate assessments and conduct analyses to identify competency gaps and key L&D requirements across Area CX
- Design and develop L&D programmes in collaboration with the global L&D community, learning academies, and business subject-matter experts
- Support onboarding, upskilling, and reskilling of Area CX teams as a trainer or facilitator
- Establish and maintain performance evaluation methods, utilising metrics to validate knowledge transfer and measurable business impact
- Foster a strong learning culture and drive engagement and adoption of L&D programmes across the organisation
- Utilise CX communication channels for key messaging, updates, and driving focus on capability priorities
- Create and maintain a local learning content repository to promote on-demand and self-directed learning
- Propose, manage, and track the L&D budget for Area CX
