About the Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide first- and second-line technical support to employees across the business. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and cloud-based issues while maintaining IT systems, user accounts, devices, and security standards.
Working closely with Operations and Leadership, you will help maintain a secure and productive technology environment while supporting the implementation of new systems, applications, and business technologies.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, delivering excellent customer service, and continuously improving IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide first- and second-line technical support to employees across the organisation
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application issues
- Support Windows and macOS devices across a distributed remote workforce
- Troubleshoot printers, peripherals, mobile devices, and remote working equipment
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members where required
User Administration
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in line with HR workflows
- Manage access across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and core business applications
- Configure user permissions and enforce security settings
- Support password resets and multi-factor authentication (MFA) enrolment
- Maintain accurate IT asset registers and user records
Cloud & Business Systems
- Support HubSpot CRM, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and other business-critical applications
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective
- Install, configure, and maintain business software across the organisation
- Support cloud collaboration platforms and productivity tools
- Monitor application performance and availability, escalating issues as needed
Network & Security
- Assist with network troubleshooting and connectivity issues for remote employees
- Maintain endpoint security solutions and ensure antivirus software is current
- Monitor and manage system updates, backups, and patch management cycles
- Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and promote best practices across the business
- Assist with incident response and security investigations where required
Device Management
- Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for new and existing employees
- Maintain hardware inventory and asset registers
- Coordinate equipment replacements, repairs, and returns
- Ensure all devices comply with company security standards and policies
Documentation & Reporting
- Log and manage support requests through the IT service desk and ticketing system
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
- Produce regular IT support reports and service metrics for management review
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) where required
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and recommend improvements to IT systems and support processes
- Assist with implementing new technologies and automation opportunities
- Participate actively in IT projects and infrastructure upgrades
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, tools, and cybersecurity trends
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Required Experience & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
- Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi
- Experience supporting cloud-based applications and collaboration tools
