Recruiter

Location: Remote (South Africa) | Employment Type: Full-Time | Department: Talent Acquisition & Recruitment | Reports To: Recruitment Manager / Head of Talent Acquisition

About Lamqora

Lamqora is a modern recruitment and workforce solutions company helping businesses attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent. We partner with startups, SMEs, and enterprise organisations across the UK, Europe, Africa, and international markets, delivering end-to-end solutions spanning Recruitment, Executive Search, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, Workforce Consulting, and HR Technology.

As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious, people-focused Recruiter to identify, engage, and place exceptional talent — while delivering an outstanding recruitment experience for both clients and candidates.

The Opportunity

As a Recruiter at Lamqora, you will own the full recruitment lifecycle — from taking client job briefs and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews, coordinating offers, and ensuring successful placements. You will work closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and candidates across multiple industries, building strong relationships while delivering high-quality recruitment solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, commercially minded, and genuinely passionate about connecting great people with outstanding career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to successful placement
  • Understand client hiring requirements, company culture, and role expectations in depth
  • Develop tailored recruitment strategies for permanent, contract, and temporary positions
  • Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while maintaining excellent service levels across all assignments

Candidate Sourcing

  • Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, internal databases, and professional networking
  • Build proactive talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs
  • Conduct targeted headhunting for specialist and difficult-to-fill positions
  • Screen CVs, assess applications, and shortlist the most suitable candidates
  • Maintain regular, meaningful communication with both active and passive candidates

Candidate Assessment

  • Conduct telephone, virtual, and competency-based interviews
  • Assess candidates on technical skills, relevant experience, and cultural fit
  • Verify employment history and conduct professional reference checks
  • Prepare detailed candidate profiles and interview summaries for client review
  • Provide constructive, timely feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process

Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between clients and shortlisted candidates
  • Provide market insights, salary benchmarking data, and strategic recruitment advice
  • Negotiate offers and professionally manage the end-to-end placement process
  • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction at every stage of each assignment

Recruitment Administration

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Update HubSpot CRM with all client and candidate activity in a timely manner
  • Prepare offer letters, contracts, and supporting recruitment documentation
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and applicable data protection regulations

Business Development Support

  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional Lamqora services to existing clients
  • Generate referrals from candidates and existing client relationships
  • Support long-term account growth in collaboration with the Business Development team
  • Contribute to building Lamqora's reputation as a trusted recruitment partner

Employer Branding

  • Write compelling, engaging job advertisements that attract high-quality candidates
  • Promote vacancies across job boards and relevant social media platforms
  • Represent Lamqora professionally and positively in all candidate interactions
  • Support employer branding initiatives and broader recruitment marketing campaigns

Key Performance Indicators

Success in this role will be measured across the following metrics:

  • Placements made and vacancy fill rate
  • Time-to-fill across assigned vacancies
  • CV-to-interview and interview-to-placement ratios
  • Candidate and client satisfaction scores
  • Recruitment revenue generated
  • CRM and ATS data accuracy and completeness

Required Experience & Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Executive Search, or Staffing
  • Demonstrated experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle independently
  • Strong candidate sourcing, headhunting, and interviewing capabilities
  • Excellent written and spoken English
