Operations & Shipping Clerk (13-Month Salary Package)

About the Role

FFC International Company Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fortune Freight Group, one of the region's established names in international freight forwarding with roots going back to 1989. Headquartered in Hong Kong's Hunghom district, FFC International serves as the group's administrative and financial hub, overseeing branch operations across Taiwan and China. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operation / Shipping Clerk to join our Hong Kong operations team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the full set of import and export operational and documentation processes from start to finish
• Prepare, verify, and process shipping documents including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations
• Liaise and maintain professional correspondence with customers, overseas agents, and carriers via email and other communication channels
• Monitor shipment progress and ensure all processes and milestones are completed accurately and on schedule
• Coordinate with internal teams, shipping lines, and third-party logistics providers to resolve operational issues in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records and filing of shipping and trade documentation in compliance with company procedures
• Support day-to-day administrative tasks within the operations department as required

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience with shipping lines or freight forwarders in an operations capacity; fresh graduates with relevant academic background will also be considered
• Familiarity with Europe, USA, and/or Asia trade lanes is a distinct advantage
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
• High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a proactive working attitude
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Minimum education level: Form 5 / HKCEE or equivalent
